Let’s say you bring an investor a deal where they stand to make a reasonable profit of $1,000,000. It’s not unheard of for you, the property scout, to get paid $30,000 or more.
It’s true. It happens everyday. Just for bringing the deal to the table.
It gets better. Structure the deal right with the investor, and you can get a meaningful piece of the property’s equity and receive a partner’s share of the cashflow and future profits upon sale. All for the same amount of work.
You don’t need to be a real estate broker or agent to be a property scout. You don’t need a license. In fact, you don’t need experience in real estate at all to get started.
You don’t need capital or credit either. No going to the bank or filling out loan applications for you. That’s the investor’s part.
Some people call this putting in “sweat equity”—but this is probably easiest kind of work there is. Basically, you're leveraging your brain as well as the capital and credit of others on deals you think have strong merit for an investor.

They’re looking for steals, not just deals.
